00 / Hour A credit union is looking for a financial advocate to focus on developing and enhancing member relationships.
You will be responsible for administering the operational sales and service efforts of the branch by assisting members with opening a wide variety of products and services.
The company requires you to maintain the high level of service, trust, accountability, and respect.
Responsibilities Assume responsibility for the effective and professional performance of financial service functions Represent the company in a courteous and professional manner by greeting members in person or by phone Assist Sales and Service Manager in seeking out and planning community events representing the company Adhere to Member Identification Program (MIP) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) procedures Prepare Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) as needed Understand lending and effectively counsel members on loan products that meet their needs and effectively closes loans with members adhering to proper compliance and regulation procedures.
Answer advanced questions and solves problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers, and reporting results to the inquiring party Resolve member account problems Take stop payment and wire transfer orders Receive and direct members and telephone calls Respond to inquiries and questions if possible or directs them as necessary Perform file maintenance and account changes as needed Seek opportunities and prepares presentation to deliver to select employee groups and potential member groups Maintain and project the company's reputation by maintaining the privacy of all personal member information Assist members with setting up electronic services Understand and successfully explain NCUA share insurance coverage Meet or exceed established sales and service goals set by management Perform outbound calling for onboarding new members and expanding the relationship of existing members.
Monitor transactions for suspicious and/or possible fraudulent activity and examines documents for endorsement and negotiability Detect and resolve discrepancies promptly Research suspicious activities, prepare narrative, and needed information to complete SAR Counsel members regarding their financial well-being and provides products and services that are appropriate to the member Successfully prioritize multiple member requests with freedom to interpret and act upon various situations within established policies, procedures and regulatory compliance Perform outbound calls to members as a proactive approach to deepening member's relationships Education or Experience High School Diploma or GED 5
years of related experience Requirements Valid driver's license A clean background and drug screen Proven sales record Gain and maintain knowledge of the credit union's products and services Excellent communication skills and computer skills Ability to lift and move 25 pounds Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good credit history Location:
